adidas’ classic basketball sneaker that first came out in 1984, the Forum, has a new mid-cut rendition that pays homage to Japan’s cherry blossom season. Meet the adidas Forum Mid “Hanami”.
This mid-top Forum has a smooth leather base in cloud white from heel to toe. The most astonishing feature of the shoe is the special treatment applied to the upper that makes it possible for the shoe to react to UV light. The embroidered cherry blossom patterns on the shoe come alive in the sunlight and turn pink. The right tongue features a cherry blossom illustration while the left tongue shows off the usual adidas branding in light grey. An off white sole unit caps off the design of this sneaker.
