Bad Bunny x adidas Forum Low Cangrejeros

As adidas introduced its new basketball line, the brand unveiled a selection of footwear in its “Remember The Why” collection during NBA All-Star Weekend 2023. One of the more colourful editions in the collection was the upcoming Bad Bunny x adidas Forum Low, themed around the San Juan-based Cangrejeros de Santurce (Crabmen of Santurce) Basketball franchise that the artist co-owns.

While this isn’t the first time we’ve seen Bad Bunny take to the Forum Low, it’s definitely one of the more playful editions. The artist has decided to step away from the usual monotone toolkit and embraced his franchise’s colourway instead. References to the Puerto Rican basketball team are tasteful, with the Lobster insignia on the tongue, as well as the team’s name hidden under the featured straps. On the side wall, the star-shaped perforations are lined between the 3-Stripes, with the team’s Championship year dates written in gold foil lettering underneath. Bunny’s chunky silhouette is still a key part of the overall package, with the puffed-up ankle collar and double-tongue welcomed back onto this edition.
