Jeremy Scott draws on one of nature’s most precious gems to bring a delicate beauty to the 80s court-ready silhouette. The Forum has seen a massive rollout from adidas these past few years and is no stranger to the addition of the Jeremy Scott Wings. Continuing on the nature-inspired palette is this Opal Pack that turns its head away from the more muted earth tones and looks to the glossy finish of a rare gem. If you’re a fan of Jeremy Scott and patent leather then this Pack is so down your street, it may as well be your house.
Scott explored this idea of a distinctly textured upper on his Dipped Collection from 2021, so this all-patent finish shouldn’t be much of a surprise to followers of his work. Apart from the matt finish on the midsole and laces, everything else has been given the glossy opal touch. All the rugged features of the Forum are still here, doused in the patent leather that’ll have you reflecting so much, you might think you’re woke. The wings take up their assumed position around the ankle collar, shutting down any chance of you shrouding these high tops with your jeans. That being said, these aren’t supposed to be a quiet shoe and in a world full of subtle details, it’s a fun change from the status quo.
