Here we take a closer look at the adidas NMD R2 Boost Black – a silhouette yet to receive a confirmed release date. This mysterious colourway is expected to be hugely popular given the understated vibes and subtle hits of red. Stay glued to our social media pages for more updates on this release during the run up to launch.
This is a mesh crafted NMD R2, meaning the conventional Primeknit has been switched out in favour of hard-wearing mesh. It makes for a more robust design that’s durable without losing the signature comfort of the NMD legacy.
As mentioned, this is an understated pair, arriving in a full black colourway across much of the upper. The welded three stripes across the sidewall remain tonal as does the inner lining and mesh tongue. Conventional adidas NMD insignia is stamped to an embroidered tongue overlay and ‘Brand With The Three Stripes’ insignia sits on the heel pull. As a subtle contrast, this gives a vibrant flash of colour in red.
To balance the look, a white coloured Boost unit sits underfoot with the classic embossed branding seen on all NMD R2s.
The adidas NMD R2 Boost Black is scheduled to release in the following months via the listed retailers.
