The BAPE x adidas NMD R1 Black Camo has been a long time coming. This stylish silhouette boasts the unique camo print of the BAPE brand coupled with the performance and finish of the hugely popular Nomad runner. Let’s take a closer look at what you can expect.
This joint effort is set to be one of the biggest releases of 2016, competing with the likes of the Yeezy 350, Mastermind Japan NMD and the Pharrell Human Species series. It’s already created hype on social media as fans of this crossover have gone into meltdown after confirmation of a November release date.
As you’d expect, this shoe is seriously good looking. A soft, neoprene like mesh hits the upper with a full BAPE camo print from heel to toe. You’ll also have the option of a green coloured design, but this pair opts for the darker shade of the two.
To compliment, welded three stripe branding makes an appearance to the sidewall and the classic adidas Originals overlays hit the rear. Finally, the iconic BAPE logos are featured to the tongue and inner sole.
