adidas Ozweego OG Solar Orange

The original Ozweego 3 model from the late 90s returns in its full glory after 25 years. This chunky running sneaker reemerges following the popularity of the modern Ozweego revamp in 2019. This women’s adidas Ozweego OG “Solar Orange” stands out with bright tones of orange atop a classic black and white makeover.

The adidas Ozweego 1 and 2 pioneered the popular chunky sneaker series, but it was the Ozweego 3 that shifted all the attention towards it. Unveiled in 1998, the adidas Ozweego 3 brought updates to the design and technology of the franchise. The shoe features a mesh base with a more streamlined shape headlined by wavy overlays. A leather mudguard covers both sides of the shoe, while the wavy eyestays flaunted a unique lacing setup with nylon lace loops for an enhanced fit. Other notable features include the chunky adiPRENE+ foam midsole and the adidas Torsion support bar on the midfoot. This 2023 retro retains the Ozweego 3 DNA but updated some details, such as the tongue label and adiPRENE+ getting replaced with a standard EVA foam.

This colourway features a black mesh base with white leather overlays and orange accents on the outlines. The adidas Ozweego branding on the tongue boasts Trefoil logos to match the labels on the heel and sockliner. More orange tones adorn the rubber outsole for a head-turning finish.
