adidas Superstar WS2 Black White

The adidas Superstar WS2 Black White is one of the latest pairs that the brand with the three stripes has launched, showcasing a unique deconstructed design-process. It takes hues from the hugely-popular DIY aesthetic that is currently doing the rounds in the world of avant-garde high fashion.

The pair utilises multiple premium construction materials such as supple suede, firm leather panels and the Superstar’s signature rubberised toe cap. The upper carefully places each section to a slight overlay, giving the pair as a whole an intentional unfinished look. A suede patch covering the heel peels back to reveal a black grained leather interior, and accentuated stitches can be found throughout.

A clean white midsole houses all of the above, with adidas branding kept minimal via three stripes on both lateral and medial sides, and a trefoil logo embroidered onto the tongue and heel. The clean grey and white colourway is broken up with black accents, for a solid tonal colour pallet from start to finish.
