ASICS Gel-Kayano 14 Mink Cream

Did you know that Hidenori Yamashita, the designer of the ASICS Gel-Kayano 14, was inspired by the concept of the “flash” when he created the shoe? For Yamashita, “flash” references the burst of action when the runner lands on the heel and pushes away at the toes. Introducing one of the latest iterations of the silhouette, the ASICS Gel-Kayano 14 “Mink Cream”.

This Gel-Kayano 14 has a chocolate brown mesh base. The suede overlays on the toe and quarter panel areas are also in the same tonal hue. The suede heel panels, on the other hand, are rose-pink, matching the tongue lining and the insoles. The Tiger stripes on the flanks are delicate pale pink just like the toe accents and the sock liners. A cream-coloured midsole with dark and light brown GEL inserts showing on the lateral side and a brown, cream and pink rubber tread wrap up the design of this sneaker.
