ASICS x MITA Sneakers x Beams Gel-Lyte III Souvenir Jacket | HQ725-5858 is the latest collab between Japanese sneaker store MITA and Beams on the iconic asics GLIII. This newest iteration takes inspiration from a bit of Japanese fashion history.
This shoe is based around the infamous Souvenir Jacket, a staple in Japanese fashion and many peoples wardrobes. With the upper being made from a combination of navy pigskin suede and velour, you can now see the influences starting to take shape on the shoe.
Coming in a deep navy blue, this colourway only adds to the already luxurious feel of the crep. This is then coupled with an embroidered dragon on the heel as well as the a Dragon graphic on the sole to add an extra layer of depth to the shoe.
