You don’t have to be a sushi lover to appreciate the END x ASICS GEL-Lyte III Wasabi Grey. This limited-edition collaboration blends oriental themes as a homage to that spicy Japanese condiment. Arguably one of ASICS most attractive collaborations in recent months, sizes are expected to fly off the shelves for this release.
A full shade of wasabi green covers the premium suede across this ASICS Gel Lyte III. It’s surprisingly laid-back and manages to put all emphasis on those iconic details. What’s not to love about those vintage stripes across the sidewall and the subtle perforations to the toe box?
Japanese insignia is stamped to the tongue which features in a split construct for an ultra secure fit. The addition of speckled laces continues the theme whilst an off-white inner lining and midsole manages to balance the look. Vibrant hits of pink to the outsole are a subtle reference to pickled ginger, often served alongside that fiery hot wasabi. The END x ASICS GEL-Lyte III Wasabi Grey is scheduled to launch exclusively via the UK retailer. As of yet, it’s not known when the wider release is happening. Each pair will arrive in a limited edition box with an END branded chop stick and bowl.
