ASICS Gel-NYC 2.0 Slate Blue

The ASICS GEL-NYC 2.0 arrives in "Slate Blue", a low cut build that layers gradient synthetic overlays across a breathable mesh upper. Slate blue holds the base while graphite grey shades the overlays and tooling, and reflective detailing on the forefoot, lace holder and heel TPU lifts the tonal finish.

Underfoot, FF BLAST PLUS cushioning works with rearfoot and forefoot GEL technology to absorb impact, while the TRUSSTIC support system adds structure through the midfoot. The outsole takes its cues from the GEL-1050 and GEL-LYTE DS II, with AHAR rubber in high wear areas and walking specific flex grooves, plus an angled heel that smooths the transition from heel to toe. Muted colouring works with straight leg denim or relaxed outerwear, and as a sportstyle model it slots into everyday wear. One to consider for a clean daily rotation.
