ASICS Gel-NYC 2.0 Slate Blue

ASICS reworks the Gel-NYC 2.0 in "Slate Blue", where a gradient application shifts the blue across the mesh upper and its overlays for a tonal effect. Reflective detailing on the forefoot, lace holder, heel TPU and GEL technology logo catches light in low light conditions, and the upper construction itself references the GEL-1050.

The tooling draws on that same model, with outsole cues from the GEL-LYTE DS II adapted for lifestyle use. Rearfoot and forefoot GEL technology inserts sit beneath FF BLAST PLUS cushioning, a foam from the brand's running collection tuned for everyday wear, while the TRUSSTIC support system improves stability underfoot. AHAR rubber covers the high abrasion areas of the outsole, and an angled heel softens contact with the ground for smoother heel to toe transitions. One to consider for a clean daily rotation.
