The brand describes the shoe as a ‘visual composite’ which pulls inspiration from a variety of different sports shoes. That includes the unmistakable aesthetic of a basketball high-top matched with running footwear. The result is a robust and chunky silhouette that is just as advanced as you’d expect.
The look is deliberately worn-in, giving an aged appearance that makes the shoe look all together more understated. Although you’ll have several colourways to choose from, this pair showcases a deep shade of grey from heel to toe. Light hits of beige feature to the midsole and an embroidered Balenciaga logo hits the sidewall. To complete this striking shoe, a set of white specked laces are included.
