From heel to toe, the 1906R Protection Pack, also known as Refined Future, opts for navy and grey shades that paint the messy deconstructed layering of suede and leather panels. Unlike the 2002 model, the 1906 comes with a TPU heel counter for upgraded durability and the N-lock lacing system via the N logos on the side. With that said, the trait they both share is the N-ergy midsole unit underfoot below borrowed from the New Balance 860v2.
