Introducing the New Balance x Colette MRT580C6. The first of its kind collaboration sees Paris based fashion outlet, Colette join forces with the legendary sneaker brand. It’s part of a collection which celebrates the 20th anniversary of the New Balance 580. As such, the shoe is stamped with vintage detailing throughout but includes all new performance upgrades.
The 580 silhouette was first launched in 1996 as an off road trail running shoe. It quickly gained fans for its impressive performance. A full ground contact sole brought stability while its lightweight construct delivered protection and breathability that didn’t weigh you down.
Staying true to that original design ethos, New Balance have taken things one step further with their REVlite technology. A combination of suede, synthetic and perforated holes provide promise comfort for these warmer months. The split colour design features a shade of vibrant blue to much of the front and tongue, with grey contrasting to the rear and midsole. As always, you’ll notice that signature ‘N’ branding to the sidewall and a set of rope laces are included.
The New Balance x Colette MRT580C6 is scheduled to release on Saturday 9th July via the retailers on the right hand side.
