Online streetwear and sneaker blog, Hypebeast have enjoyed major success for 2016 with several high profile collaborations. For this latest one, they have teamed up with New Balance and gave one of their most iconic silhouettes an eye catching transformation.
A muted shade of green is utilised across the upper. At first glance this almost looks like a grey colourway, but look closely and you’ll see the faint hues of green. A melee of materials have been used throughout including mesh and synthetic overlays. It gives that winning combination of comfort and lightweight breathability that doesn’t sacrifice on protection.
While they provide a nice base layer, it’s the addition of mottled suede which sets this shoe apart from the rest. It features in the same tonal colourway which is matched on the chunky midsole underfoot. Finally, Hypebeast branding makes an appearance to the tongue, and the classic ‘N’ is stamped to the sidewall.
