New Balance 990v1 Green Gold

New Balance's 990 series gained incredible traction in the last year thanks to Aimé Leon Dore's Teddy Santis, who was put in charge of the Boston brand's MADE in USA division in 2021. Premiered in 1982, the NB990v1 was the original model that led its later intalments to success. Renowned for its comfort and premium-made panels, the 990v1 features the in-house Motion Control Device that is still present across the brand's modern-day offerings. With nylon and fuzzy suede panels decked out in a predominantly green hue, smooth leather accents grace the design via the contrasting yellow "N" logos and branded heel caps in white. Branding on the tongues and an ENCAP midsole tooling completes this ensemble in true New Balance fashion.
