New Balance 990v3 Made in USA Khaki

The Boston-based footwear brand has stuck to its formula by bringing an archival classic back to life with this tonal Khaki colourway. With Teddy Santis pulling the strings behind the Made in USA line, the NB990v3 is truly being spoilt with tasteful colour palettes. As a result, sneakerheads are continuously waving their hard-earned cash at the brand with no end in sight.

Returning to nature, Santis plucks out an array of earthy greens with which to decorate the shoe’s upper. The khaki green makes up for most of the webbed panel section but can also be found on the heel and toe guard. A darker green suede replaces the usual mesh toe box and provides contrast, giving the shoe a topographical look. In keeping with the nature motif, the midsole takes on a stone-grey colour that is also used on the perforated heel and grid-patterned tongue. Making its usual appearance, the ENCAP midsole is there to give you the all-day comfort that the 990 line is known for. The New Balance “N” located on the side panel adopts a wine red and white combination, giving the branding an appreciated flair. The Made in USA red branding that we normally find on the tongue adopts this darker wine colour and plays into the autumnal shades of the shoe.
