New Balance 991 Made in UK Black Magnet

Notorious for great quality, New Balance’s Made in UK series blesses the 991 with another premium make-up. If you’re on the lookout for a sneaker with a simple colourway and some top-notch materials then stop searching now cause this 991 by the people over at New Balance has got exactly that.

Made up of mostly soft black leather, the upper’s dark appearance sets aside vibrant colourways, taking time to focus on the details. Setting these apart from the crowd is the hand-crafted Harris Tweed textile that underlays the leather panelling and gives the shoe a tactile feel. Thanks to the special treatment this NB991 release has received up in Flimby, Cumbria, these don’t feel the need to shout but instead stand proud in its premium tooling. The usual New Balance Midsole is here in its traditional split of white and grey, ABZORB units providing the comfort below. The only noticeable piece of branding is the “N” on the side of the shoe, which is outlined in white, so if you’re after a quietly confident pair of sneakers then you can’t go wrong with a fresh pair of these.
