NBA x Nike Air Force 1 Lakers

In honour of NBA’s Diamond Anniversary, Nike made numerous tribute sneakers. The NBA x Nike Air Force 1 Lakers is just one of the latest to join the roster, sporting the brand’s vintage uniform colours from Minneapolis and, later, Los Angeles: white, purple and baby blue.

The entire vamp area and the quarter are a smooth white leather. The mid panel is a Lakers Purple matching the purple lining along the all-around feather edge. Baby blue comes out on the eye stay, the mesh sock liner, the tongue lining, the stitching right below the feather edge and the outsole. The lateral Swoosh in pure white stands out against the purple mid panel and blends in on the quarter. The diamond etched on the silver deubré is a nice finishing touch to this themed Air Force 1.
