As it celebrates its 40th birthday, the Nike Air Force 1 continues to delight with unusual and quirky concepts. A case in point is its very arts-and-crafts-looking project, the Nike Air Force 1 Cross Stitch Grey.

This AF1’s highlights are the mid-panels dressed entirely in cream-coloured basket weave fabric that looks ready to be cross-stitched. Matching cream-coloured profile Swooshes sweep across the quarters on both sides of the shoe. The rest of the upper is dressed in smooth leather with a very light grey hue. The Sail-coloured laces contrast with this light grey background. A slightly darker grey sole unit with embossed Air branding caps off the look of the sneaker.
