Nike Air Force 1 GS Lakers Alternate

In case you'd forgotten, Bruce Kilgore's Air Force 1 is actually rich in basketball history and was the first ever basketball sneaker to feature Nike Air technology. Whilst we tend to associate Jordans with the sport, we often see AF1s take on basketball-themed colourways, too and this Nike Air Force 1 GS "Lakers Alternate" is another addition to the evergrowing roster.

The Grade School-sized sneaker sees a black, tumbled leather upper take over the majority of the sneaker, before purple and yellow layered Swoosh sweeps across the sidewalls. The team's rich purple hue also dresses the liners and tongue tabs, with accents of Lakers gold highlighting the Nike branding hits. A white midsole sits underneath, and this comes topped with a purple rubber outsole to round off the theme.
