Nike Air Force 1 Low Just Do It Denim Bouclé

Since 1982, the Air Force 1 has hit the shelves in an extraordinary number of colourways. Adding to that library of colourways in 2023 is this Air Force 1 Just Do It “Denim Bouclé” edition, giving the ‘80s basketball classic a playful tooling. If you’re on the lookout for a light-hearted pair of kicks for the warmer months ahead, then these are a great addition to your wardrobe.

Sat atop a cream midsole, the majority of the upper is formed from off-white leather, letting the various playful accents grab your attention. Half sewn onto the tongue, the label reads “Just Do It Oregon USA” in a mix of pink and blue embroidery. These are both Nike’s slogan and headquarters location, two vital parts of the brand’s DNA. Following downwards from the laces is a pink dubrae, matching the embroidered sidewall slogan that jumps on and off from the Swoosh. The most interesting element of the shoe exits on the side quarter, with a selection of different threads stitched into the panel to give this pair a deconstructed edge. Unlike the Japanese sashiko method, there is no selected pattern yet more a mix of organised chaos, giving this pair a Wabi Sabi vibe.

This Air Force 1 will probably go under the radar for most, but that doesn’t mean you should sleep on this playful update.
