One of Nike’s bestselling silhouettes gets a trendy update with the Nike Air Force 1 Premium Rub-Away Black. Designed as part of the Oregon-born brand’s “Home & Away” pack, this sneaker is ultra unique thanks to the underlayer that reveals itself when the upper starts to wear away.
Crafted from smooth leather, the upper on these AF1 boasts structured overlays that enhance the durability of the silhouette. Perforations feature on the toe box and allow air to flow freely around the foot and branding comes in the form of a Nike Swoosh embellishment to the side. But where this Air Force 1 really comes to life is the underlayer. The more you wear these, the more the upper starts to wear away to reveal an earthy-toned beige underneath. If you want to speed up the process you can scrub at the top with nail varnish remover, or you can just let the sneaker do its thing and wear away at its own pace!
