The Nike Air Force 1 Upstep LOTC Gold is another womens release and part of the ‘Look of the City’ pack. It follows on from earlier launches for 2016 which also showcased a swirling pattern across the upper. London and Paris were just two of the cities that were celebrated and here we have yet another eye-catching rendition.
The Air Force 1 is known as the pinnacle of street footwear, but that classic design has been re-invented with an ultra premium look. The patent leather of the upper is stamped with a circular print from heel to toe. Dressed in a dark gold colourway, few other shades would have done this design justice. It only adds to the sense of exclusivity.
Complimenting this rich colour, a black patent Swoosh is stamped on the sidewall. The rear features a black overlay, while everything else on the upper remains tonal. That includes a gold inner lining and laces. Underfoot it’s the iconic Air Force 1 midsole which gives a subtle nod to those streetwear roots.
