Renowned tennis player Serena Williams has always had an eye for design. That’s why she enrolled in fashion school in the early 2000s. She now has her very own Serena Williams Design Crew (SWDC) and she just tied up with Nike to bring us the Serena Williams x Nike Air Force 1 LXX Zip.

This minimalist low-top is laceless and has a pebbled leather upper in Summit White. The shoe features embroidered double signature Swooshes in white on both the medial and lateral sides. The usual lace system is swapped out for a zipper boasting metallic gold hardware and Nike branding. Serena Williams’ signature in gold adorns the white heel tab and co-branding in white, gold and silver can be seen on the tongue tab. When unzipped, the tongue reveals SWDC’s “10 4 01” which symbolises diversity, inclusivity and the bond between the team and the individual. A crisp white sole unit finishes off the shoe’s design.
