Sushi Club x Nike Air Force 1 Low Sushi Force

Nike finally recognises its Sushi-loving fanbase with this limited Air Force 1 release. Titled the “Sushi Force 1”, the shoe is a three-way collaboration between renowned Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, LA-based retailer Stampd and the Swoosh. Based on the theme of the Beverly Hills Sushi Club, a reference to Matsuhisa’s self-titled restaurant in the Hills, the Air Force 1 is a celebration of both top-tier sushi and footwear.

The Air Force 1 arrives in its classic all-white leather make-up, or in other words, a recipe for success. On the heel, the Sushi Club branding can be found laser etched into the leather, a technique pioneered by Mark Smith back in 2003. The dubraes read “SF1”, which as previously mentioned, stands for “Sushi Force 1”, a playful detail that is enough to grab anyone’s attention. Stampd and Matsuhisa are printed onto the labels in black, their presence recognised on this classy pair of Air Force 1s. A spell-out is tastefully applied to the tongue label in grey, keeping to the subtle branding approach on the pair.
