Celebrating the Lunar New Year, the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Xuanwu” pays homage to the prominent mythological creature and deity in Chinese culture. This magnificent colourway is limited to 3399 individually numbered pairs and exclusive to the Greater China region. The “Xuanwu” theme revolves around the Black Tortoise of the North, often depicted as a hybrid turtle snake that can cast magic, control water, and symbolise winter.

This AJ1 High features a sail leather upper with luxurious gold flakes on the black faux snakeskin overlays. Rich amber and brown accents highlight the exquisite textures on the Swoosh, Jordan Wings, and rear, which resemble a deity’s armour. The premium leather laces usher in another elegant touch to the timeless basketball sneaker, while shiny gold Nike Air labels on the tongue and sockliner add flair to the fancy design. Encapsulated Air technology in the heel provides ample cushioning underfoot, shored up by a semi-translucent rubber outsole.
