The Jordan 5 Olympic Gold is another inspired addition to the range, launching just in time for the upcoming games. While we’ve seen plenty of eye-catching Jordan 5’s for 2016, few have arrived with luxurious gold detailing. This pair manages to blend that eye-catching quality with iconic style and the laidback look of a premium white leather base.
First launched as a high-performance basketball sneak, the Jordan 5 quickly made the transition to lifestyle footwear. It’s gained a massive fan following which isn’t surprising given the vintage and comfortable design elements.
This pair is dressed with white leather on the upper and is stamped with the brands signature mesh to the sidewall. A contrasting midsole underfoot features in black, while a translucent outsole adds to the vintage appeal. The slightest touch of gold also makes an appearance on this lower section, and is mirrored to the tongue and eyelet. A subtle nod to the winning medal of the games, it sets this design apart from the rest.
