Nike Air Max 1 Monarch

Nike expands its Air Max 1 lineup with the all-new “Monarch”, one of the hotly anticipated styles from the Sportswear catalogue. The pioneer model of the Air Max franchise has been at the forefront of the Swoosh’s lifestyle selections, instantly recognisable for its patented cushioning system and sleek design inspired by Centre Pompidou in France. This iteration sees the timeless silhouette decked out in white airy mesh underlays with grey pebbled leather overlays around the midfoot and rear. Vibrant orange hues envelop the suede mudguard and inner lining. Black suede Swooshes decorate the side panels, complementing the standard Nike branding on the tongue, sockliner, and heel. A lightweight PU midsole sits underfoot, bolstered by a visible Air bubble in the rear for enhanced cushioning. The classic waffle sole nods to the brand’s patented traction pattern invented by co-founder Bill Bowerman.
