Serena Williams Design Crew X Nike Air Max 1 Orange

Launched in 2021, the Serena Williams Design Crew continues to make waves and give the young up-and-coming designers in the apprenticeship program an opportunity to showcase their creativity and imagination. After taking on styles like the Air More Uptempo, Air Max 90, and Air Force 1 Low in the past, the Serena Williams-led collective unveils a brand new collection for Autumn 2023. This Serena Williams Design Crew x Nike Air Max 1 “Orange” boasts a clean tan and white combination, highlighted with teal accents and wavy topographic panels.

Along with the Nike Air Huarache and Dunk Low Disrupt 2, this Nike Air Max 1 completes the triad honouring Serena Williams’ influence in sports and fashion. Perfect for autumn, this Air Max 1 colourway flaunts a tan suede base with perforated toe panels and topographic Swoosh textures. Orange hairy suede encompasses the forefoot rand and collar, adding a luxe treatment to the ‘87 icon. Crisp white tones make up the mudguard and midsole, with a teal mini Swoosh on the forefoot and heel Air unit that echo the two other models’ themes in the collection. Assorted Nike Air branding adorns the tongue and heel panel, while Serena Williams’ signature appears on the teal sockliner.
