Nike Air Max 90 GORE-TEX Lapis

Nike’s third iteration of its Air Max line, the Air Max 90, debuts a waterproof construction and a striking blue hue. With its enhanced Air bag showcased in a striking window, the AM90 remains one of the most recognizable and ubiquitous sneakers from the brand. Take a closer look at the Nike Air Max 90 GORE-TEX “Lapis”.

This AM90 has a white mesh base and striking lapis lazuli blue accents in the form of the signature profile Swooshes on both sides of the shoe, part of the ribbed TPU eye stay panels and the mesh sock liner. Tan joins the colour mix via the overlays whilst the mudguard on the medial and lateral sides are black. Instead of Nike or Air Max branding, you’ll find GORE-TEX branding instead to highlight the waterproof feature of the shoe. GORE-TEX is embroidered in tan on tongues and is white on the lapis blue mid-panel cut-out windows. The white midsole shows off a tan cassette encasing exposed Air units. A black, tan and lapis blue waffle-patterned rubber outsole round out this release.
