Description
Introducing the Nike Air Max 96 2 XX White Teal. It’s another eye-catching colourway which blends iconic design with contemporary performance upgrades. As the name would suggest, this range first made an appearance in 1996 but was later archived after dominating the sneaker scene for a brief period.
As is often the case, a good silhouette doesn’t go unnoticed for too long. After years of collecting dust, the designers at Nike have now re-launched the shoe in a handful of colourways; not before giving the design some much needed upgrades.
White leather and mesh provides the comfort on the upper. It’s met with overlapping layers of black material while a 3M reflective stripe runs from heel to toe. Other impressive detailing includes that Teal colourway which features to the tongue and sidewall Swoosh. Finally, a white midsole sits underfoot with a full length visible Air Unit which isn’t dissimilar to the Air Max 95.
Fans of vintage footwear are going to love this design. Be sure to sign up for release reminders if you’re planning on grabbing a pair. The Nike Air Max 96 2 XX White Teal is scheduled to release on Thursday 1st September via the retailers on the right hand side.
