Nike Air Max 97 Korea White Grey

Celebrating its 25th anniversary, the Nike Air Max 97 is seeing a flurry of new colourways that are making us super excited to see the AM97 back on our shelves. With rumour that the Air Max 97 “Silver Bullet” will be making a return, let’s take a look at another iteration that has heads turning. Say hello to the Nike Air Max 97 “Korea”.

Taking a particularly summery look, this Air Max 97 sees a mixture of materials take over the extremely clean upper. The textured bone detailing comes in an off-white colouring against the crisp-white mesh upper, whilst the mudguard is finished up with a grey suede that comes extremely premium. A grey pull tab on the rear of the sneaker ties up the grey accents well, whilst an icy blue Swoosh sits on the midsole adding another design element. At the top of the tongue sits “나이키” (meaning Nike), paying homage to the 2002 FIFA World Cup which was joint hosted in Japan.
