Founder Clint419’s fast-growing Corteiz streetwear label is stirring up excitement with another collaborative Nike project. Following the hugely successful Corteiz x Air Max 95 collection in ‘23, it's clear that fans of the brand were willing to jump through a series of hoops to own a pair (if not all three). Hidden within Clint's November Instagram photo dump which also included a shot of the founder stood next to streetwear legend Nigo, it was clear to see that he was starting to drive up hype around the Air Trainer Huarache silhouette. While there only exists mock-ups of the future collaboration, the 2024 collection for the Corteiz x Nike Air Trainer Huarache is already gaining traction among the community.
This collaboration with Corteiz revives the archival Nike Air Trainer Huarache , which last appeared in 2019. Built on the same colour palette as the Corteiz x Nike Air Max 95 “ Olive ”, this rendition sports an olive green nubuck leather base with lighter green hues on the perforated vamp and lower heel panel. The black semi-transparent midfoot strap works with the Huarache collar to provide a secure lockdown fit while maintaining the silhouette’s lightweight build. An embroidered C-Star logo adorns the lateral forefoot in a vibrant yellow hue, while the Alcatraz insignia sits on the tongue. The black and grey midsole maintains the dark-based design, while a yellow on the heel adds a pop of colour. Durable rubber treads on the outsole wrap up this collaborative Air Trainer Huarache.
