Nike have pushed forward for 2016 with a handful of classic sneaks brought back from the archives. Undoubtedly, the Air Zoom Spiridon has been one of the most popular yet.
It’s not surprising given that this silhouette has kept all the integrity of the original model. That said, Nike have fitted all new performance upgrades to make the design more lightweight, comfortable and durable than ever before.
The upper showcases a blend of hard wearing nylon and super breathable mesh. While the latter is stamped with a dark shade of black, metallic gold mesh on the upper brings a touch of luxury. It’s possibly a nod to the winning gold medal of the Olympics which has inspired so many shoes for summer 2016.
This Midas touch continues with a metallic gold Swoosh to the sidewall and gold detailing to the integrated lacing system. Finally, a black inner lining compliments and that impressive Air Zoom midsole features in white.
