Here we take a closer look at the Kenny Moore x Nike Classic Cortez Blue. This unique silhouette arrives alongside a much larger pack which pays homage to this running athlete.
Collectors of this silhouette will no doubt be familiar with the heritage of the Cortez. It was designed by legendary track couch Bill Bowerman. Back in the day, Bill was training up and coming runner Kenny Moore who received an injury brought on by bad footwear. Bill went about creating the first version of the Cortez as a safer alternative for long distance runners. It later evolved into the iconic silhouette that’s still popular to this day.
This Kenny Moore tribute arrives with premium blue suede across the entire upper complimented by a contrasting white Swoosh across the sidewall and hits of white to the tongue and midsole. A set of matching laces are included and OG Nike branding comes stamped to the tongue. Finally, a low profile midsole sits underfoot.
