Description
A modern iteration of this classic silhouette, the Nike Cortez Day of the Dead Black is a must-have. Originally released in 1972, the Cortez was one of the world’s first modern running shoes. Designed using innovative techniques, it’s streamlined shape and unique design propels your run so you can reach peak performance with ease.
A movie star, this iconic shoe has been featured in blockbusters like Forrest Gump since its advent. This black-and-orange silhouette is made from smooth suede with a contrasting smooth leather Swoosh logo. With Nike’s retro logo stamped to the back, the panelled finish adds an architectural touch. With a textured tread that creates the perfect grip so you can run on every terrain, this durable shoe will see you through every and any occasion.
You will struggle to find a sneaker with more history than the Cortez. An ode to Nike’s co-founder – Bill Bowerman’s – passion for creating a running shoe that would propel his athletes to new heights, the Cortez is more than just a sneaker; it’s a representation of the advent of the sportswear industry.
