Nike Kobe 9 EM Low Protro Gift of Mamba

Nike Basketball celebrates the holiday season with this special-edition Nike Kobe 9 EM Low Protro “Gift of Mamba”. This stealthy colourway channels the late Los Angeles Lakers superstar and NBA Hall of Famer’s “Mamba Mentality”, a mindset that Bryant embodied to overcome adversity and injuries throughout his legendary 20-year professional basketball career.

This Kobe 9 EM Low features a clandestine black upper constructed in engineered mesh fabrics for a lightweight, breathable ride. The Flywire cables adapt to your foot to provide a secure, lockdown fit, whilst the sturdy TPU plates on the sidewalls deliver lateral stability. Shiny gold accents animate the scaly Swooshes on the quarter, complementing Kobe’s signature on the rear and the sheath logo on the leather tongue. The nine lines on the heel panel reference the Black Mamba’s ruptured Achilles injury he sustained in 2013. React cushioning on the removable insole ensures low-to-the-ground comfort and responsiveness, propped up by data-mapped traction patterns on the outsole.
