The Nike Mayfly Woven Fiberglass  launches as part of a much wider collection. Footwear ranges from iconic and vintage to modern and state of the art. All of these harness that same shimmering green upper which is synonymous with Nike’s Fiberglass colourway. Here we take a closer look at the Mayfly – an 80s era silhouette with updates for the modern day.

This deluge into the iconic sees Nike rework a classic shoe named after the insect who only has a short lifespan. The Mayfly was once seen as a disposable runner that would only last for a short period before needing to be replaced. That’s since changed as Nike outfit the shoe with all-new midsole technology to ensure long lasting durability regardless of the activity level.

This pair features a nylon crafted upper which stretches across the foot, providing lightweight yet supportive protection. Woven detailing along the sidewall adds to the exclusivity factor and brings more than adequate air flow when you need it most. Finally, a set of matching laces and branding are included.
