Nike TN Air Max Plus Black Olive

Nike commemorates the Air Max Plus’ 25th anniversary by introducing more colourways of the late ‘90s running icon. This silhouette pioneered the Tuned Air Max franchise, upgrading the brand’s proprietary Air Max technology by adding rubber hemispheres for stability and extra durability. The Nike TN Air Max Plus “Black Olive” showcases autumn-ready shades of olive green and orange, similar to the “Flight Jacket” colour scheme.

Following the success of the Air Max 95, AM97, and AM98, Nike took the illustrious Air Max franchise to the next level with the Tuned Air technology. Designer Sean McDowell led the design process of the Air Max Plus, incorporating design inspirations from swaying palm trees, ocean waves, and a whale’s tail to establish the silhouette. This colourway flaunts an olive green mesh base accented with black wavy TPU overlays and leather mudguard. Pops of orange appear on the Swoosh outline and laces, giving the shoe a “Flight Jacket” aesthetic. The sail white PU foam midsole houses the visible Tuned Air bubbles in the front and back for superior cushioning and comfort, while the whale’s tail shank plate sits in the middle to deliver arch support.
