The New Balance XC-72 is a lifestyle shoe that flaunts a retro-meets-modern design. Here it sees a nylon base wrapped with suede overlays, alternating in muted tones of green, blue, orange, grey, and beige. New Balance branding details are still as present as ever on the tongue labels and sidewalls, but what sets this apart from other NB designs is the textured rubber heel clip and treaded outsole that starts from the heel and runs toward the front underfoot and around the toes.
