A$AP ROCKY x PUMA Straycat Black Red

The A$AP ROCKY x PUMA Straycat arrives in "PUMA Black / Formula Red", with black suede and leather forming the base of the upper. Formula Red ripstop fabric picks out the collar and eyestays, adding a contrasting flash of colour against the dark panels. Distressed "dirty silver" Formstripes run along the sides and give the design a worn, industrial edge. Rocky built the model from scratch, taking cues from the PUMA Ouninpohja Explorador II, a trail runner named after a Finnish rally stage. An enlarged Vibram outsole wraps up over the toe box, with rubber climbing onto the upper in a nod to tyre treads. Two sets of two tone hiking cords cascade around the midfoot, one led by neon green and one by red, doubling as a tightening system. The trainer ships in a special box with a dust bag carrying vintage car graphics.
