Boston sportswear giant Reebok has once again reunited with John Galliano-led French luxury fashion house to bring forth the all-new Maison Margiela x Reebok Club C Tromp Loeil Black colorway elegantly arranged in a scheme that will trick your eyes. Working on a low-top profile, these Club Cs may seem nothing out of the ordinary, but upon further inspection, it looks like there's more than meets the eye. Done up with a famous art technique called "trompe l’oeil", French for "deceive the eye", the uppers of the shoe works on a single piece of leather base painted in contrasting hues of all the Reebok trainers' signature details. This creates an optical illusion making it appear as if all the features of the Club C model are featured on this pair, but realistically it's only crafted from a one-piece layer. Of course, this iteration still flaunts Reebok and Margiela branding throughout such as the vector logo on the insoles and heel alike, and the famed number chart on the tongue.
