Description
American footwear brand Saucony has hit the shelves with a retro of its 2007 ProGrid Triumph 4. The initial re-launch includes three separate colourways, with this “White Silver” pair giving the silhouette a big dad shoe vibe. However, Saucony describes the look of the model best, calling them “a blast from the past with an eye for the future”.
Unlike the “Black” and “Lemon” colourways, the classic white upper gives an opportunity for the panelling system to shine. The blue hits on the pair also apply a vibrance to what could have become a mundane colour scheme. The transitioning line thickness on Saucony’s ‘river’ logo and the gradually fading hue on the sole add to the shoe’s futuristic edge of the T4, enhancing its thoughtful design. At a retail price of £140, these are more expensive than your average pair of archival runners, which is mainly down to the shoe’s numerous features. Whether the Triumph 4 is shaving vital grams off its upper or striking a balance between stability and durability with its ProGrid sections, this 2007 runner has been fully kitted out.
If you’re after a shoe that you can clock a few hundred miles in or a comfy pair for your long commute then these Saucony ProGrid Triumph 4’s are the shoes for you. Check out The Sole Supplier for information on how to pick up a pair.
