Vans Old Skool 36 Pearlized Black

Vans dresses the Old Skool 36 in "Pearlized Black", layering suede and canvas across the upper for a two texture finish. A pearlized sheen sits over the black base, while the Sidestripe™ insignia runs along a raised sidewall finished in gloss, and foxing tape wraps the outsole below it.

Sharper edges and a shorter toe cap keep the shape close to the original Style 36, and a vulcanised build holds the waffle outsole in place. Inside, the Sola Foam ADC insole and an upgraded footbed cushion the step, with a padded collar softening the ankle. Laces handle the fit adjustment. Skate roots aside, the restrained palette pairs with dark denim or roomy cargos just as readily. One to consider for a clean daily rotation.
