If you're a big fan of niche streetwear brands, then we've got something perfect for your rotation! Revealed by Alex Lopez, founder of Parisian streetwear staple YOUTH OF PARIS, the young Parisian fashion designer has joined the Three Stripes family and has taken on one of the brand's most iconic silhouettes to date for a makeover. We've got a closer look at the YOUTH OF PARIS x adidas Campus 80s and here's everything you need to know!
The adidas Campus 80s may certainly not be as favoured as the adidas Superstar or adidas NMD, but it's safe to say that it still stands as one of adidas' go-to lifestyle sneakers. In modern times, the Campus has even acted as a blank canvas for NIGO's Japanese label Human Made, as well as Goodhood, a fashion boutique nestled in East London, UK.
With that said, Lopez has given the Campus a unique look—a black denim base injected with leather overlays across the heels and collar lining, then further elevated with contrasting black and purple stitches that appear to be randomly placed on the side profiles and rear. YOUTH OF PARIS branding details appear in a vibrant neon green tinge marked on the tongue, and the coveted collaboration is cemented with a signature Trefoil insignia on the backside, additional sets of laces, and a special-themed shoe box.
The YOUTH OF PARIS x adidas Campus 80s is no doubt a no-brainer cop for dedicated Three Stripes collectors, so make sure you stay locked in right here if you don't want to miss out on the latest adidas releases. In related news, the Bad Bunny x adidas Response CL is yet another big cop!
