A Fresh Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 550 Has Emerged

Despite still waiting for the sought-after "Mocha", "Olive" and "Dark Purple" iterations to drop, the New Balance 550 is once again being redecorated by New York-based brand Aimé Leon Dore. This time around, however, the appearance is much different from what we've seen before. Take a look at some initial images below.

Boasting a brushed suede and leather upper, this fresh ALD x New Balance 550 keeps in mind the vintage-style, monochromatic colour palette that's doing so well for 2022. New Balance's large 'N' logo remains pride of place on the medial and lateral sidewalls with the instantly recognisable cracked detailing, and is outlined by a yellow-out panel that keeps within the theme. This matches up to the leather toe box at the front, as well as the midsole below. Adding a pop of colour, Aimé Leon Dore branding sits in bold "Royal Blue", paying homage to the city in which it was born.

Not much else is known at this point about this brand-new Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 550 in "Grey Suede", but keep it locked in to hear more information as and when we have it.
