Aime Leon Dore x New Balance 550 Purple

New Balance is teaming up once again with the Teddy Santis-led luxury and lifestyle brand, Aimé Leon Dore, to dress up the duo’s tried-and-tested collab silhouette, the NB 550. The newest iteration from this collection is the Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 550 Dark Purple.

The luxuriously rich and deep hue of the shoe’s accents bring grapes and wine to mind. This colour stands out on the tongue piping, the collar overlay, the “550" branding near the eyestay panel and the mismatched heel branding, ALD on the heel and NB on the right. The “worn aesthetic” can be found on the cracked leather finish of the plump “N” logos in Dark Purple and the yellowed out midsole. A Dark Purple rubber outsole completes the look of the shoe.
