The Swoosh powerhouse recently unveiled their Fall 2021 line-up, and one of the offerings that caught our attention is the Air Jordan 5 "Shattered Backboard". The famous colourway composed of black, white, and orange tones already adorned countless Nike models since its first instruction back in 1985—the Air Jordan 1 Low "Starfish" being one of the recent iterations alongside this AJ5.
Images courtesy of renowned sneaker insider @yankeekicks show an on-foot look at these basketball-slash-lifestyle trainers. The familiar black and orange hues mark significant components of this Air Jordan IV "SBB", sticking true to its fan-favourite design.
However, the premium leather and mesh-woven base forgoes a blanched-out setup and indulges in a luscious "Sail" tint. Not only that, but the padded collars also introduce a new mesh overlay. Despite the minor changes, the traditional Jumpman logo on the tongue and heels, lace toggles, shark teeth motif, and Air-stuffed midsole are all maintained.
