While we’ve seen a serious shift in sneakers getting sillier recently, adidas continues to prove less is more as it furthers the rollout of its retro line-up. Instead of getting lost in gimmicks and fads, the 3-Stripes has focused on just putting out super-clean sneakers, and for its latest collab it's enlisted the help of BEAMS and Bodega too.
Here, the three-way offers up two adidas styles, choosing to focus its efforts on the Adimatic and Campus silhouettes. The former arrives in an off-white suede, with green branding offering a pop of colour, while the latter comes coated in hairy grey suede. While the Adimatic remains relatively simple, the Campus dials up the detailing, with a luxurious emerald green interior and white and burgundy stripes adding extra points of interest.
Of course, Bodega and BEAMS weren’t going to let this collab get away without readying some accompanying apparel, which comes inspired by the same preppy colours and style that influences the sneakers. Here, adidas steps away from the mix, allowing the other two collaborators to take centre stage, resulting in a capsule stacked with oxford shirts, a tie and chinos. That doesn’t mean sweats are completely out of the question though - all your favourite jersey staples are here, though they come decked out in a varsity theme.
Right now, it's unclear as to whether the collection will touch down in the UK, but it is expected to drop on the 10th of March at Bodega. Be sure to hit the release reminders to be the first to know if it comes in, and stay locked to The Sole Supplier for all the latest sneaker news and releases.
